A cooperation memorandum was signed between the Kordestan Corps of Mazandaran and the Gas Company of Mazandaran Province to manage the energy imbalance crisis. This agreement, titled "Martyr Hosseini Rostami Plan," is designed to implement the guidelines of resistance economy and smart management of national resources. The goal of this collaboration is to create a front to confront the challenges of energy waste and ensure the fuel security of the people.
Details of the Memorandum
This memorandum is developed as an operational roadmap to maintain the sustainability of the gas supply network in Mazandaran Province. The main axes of this document include smart monitoring and supervision of high-consumption units. The Basij Organization of Industry, Mining, and Labor in the province will be responsible for identifying, monitoring, and optimizing fuel consumption in high-consumption industrial units.

These forces will assist the gas company in managing peak loads and imbalance conditions, especially in the industrial sector, by providing technical consultations. Additionally, cultural promotion and top-down management are also on the agenda. The Basij of the province is responsible for organizing training and orientation sessions for managers and supervisors of production units, industrial parks, and mines.
Preparedness in Emergency Situations
The memorandum also includes field collaborations, which involve the deployment of trained Basij forces to assist in operations related to gas restrictions or reconnections. Furthermore, preparedness to address pressure drops or gas flow interruptions during crises is considered one of the key objectives of this plan.
The ultimate goal of this collaboration is to achieve at least a 25% reduction in gas consumption in facilities and buildings during critical times. This collaboration, which is valid until the end of Esfand 1405, demonstrates the full readiness of dedicated forces against any infrastructure crisis. With this collaboration, significant improvements in energy consumption management and reduction of energy imbalance in Mazandaran Province are expected.
