Dr. Ghasemi, in his statements, announced the improvement of the government's budget situation in the first five months of the current year and referred to the continuation of oil exports and better oil prices. According to him, the government's financial resources during this period have increased by about 78% compared to the projected budget.
Budget and Oil Exports Situation
Dr. Ghasemi noted that contrary to initial concerns, the government's resources have not been unfavorable, and oil exports have continued during this period. He also added that the realized oil prices have been better, and revenue collection has improved. This performance is particularly related to the sale of stored oil and the continuity of oil exports.

He also pointed out that the performance of the first five months cannot be definitively generalized to the coming months. If oil export and maritime transport restrictions intensify, the face of the budget and the country's economy may change completely.
Expense Management and Financial Tightening
Regarding expense management, Dr. Ghasemi announced that the government has agreed to salary increase requests in a limited manner and has eliminated or restricted the "other" item as much as possible. He added that payments are made based on priority, and no cash advances have been taken.
Dr. Ghasemi also referred to delays in debt payments and stated that payments to wheat farmers will be settled before the year 1404. According to him, health and treatment are prioritized, but this type of tightening may transfer adjustment pressure to the people.
He also mentioned the important issue of "economic suspension" and said that during a period when households and businesses do not know what conditions they will face, major purchasing and investment decisions are postponed. This itself becomes a factor for reducing economic activity.
In conclusion, Dr. Ghasemi emphasized the importance of mobile data and databases and stated that the government has not had a price control policy during this period and has tried to reduce pressure on the people through other means.
