Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, the Executive Vice President and head of the Presidential Office, emphasized the continuation of the production and export of livestock products in wartime and under sanctions at the opening ceremony of the 25th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry, and Related Industries. He stated that maintaining production infrastructure, meeting domestic needs, and exporting agricultural and livestock products reflects the determination and will of the country's producers.

Iran's Changing Position in Livestock Product Production

Ghaempanah, referring to Iran's changing position in the production and supply of dairy products, said: "Before the revolution, the country relied on imports for part of its dairy needs, but now Iranian products are available in the stores of neighboring countries." These developments clearly demonstrate the quality and production capacity of the country.

He also noted that Iran's livestock and dairy products are present in regional markets with high quality, and domestic producers have been able to export Iranian products to foreign markets through their efforts and perseverance. These actions not only help meet domestic needs but also showcase Iran's name and capabilities in various countries.

Challenges of Energy Supply and Consumption Management

The Executive Vice President referred to the challenges arising from the war and sanctions and said: "The enemy did not expect that Iran could maintain its production under wartime conditions and pressure from attacks." He praised the Ministry of Agriculture's efforts to maintain production infrastructure in wartime and highlighted the importance of continuously monitoring the production and supply of protein products.

Ghaempanah also emphasized the necessity of managing energy consumption in production units and said: "Industry players in livestock and poultry must start planning for the cold season now." He pointed to the challenges of energy supply in the country and the gas imbalance from last year, adding that early planning can help reduce damage to production units.

The Executive Vice President stressed the need for cooperation among all sectors to increase economic resilience, stating that specialized exhibitions should facilitate effective connections between knowledge, capital, and the real needs of production. The government will also continue to support industry players in livestock and poultry by providing and allocating currency for essential goods and livestock inputs.

Finally, Ghaempanah emphasized the necessity of maintaining social cohesion and said: "Iran has faced numerous difficulties throughout history, but relying on its deep-rooted civilization and the will of its people, it has been able to continue on its path."
