Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, the Executive Vice President, emphasized the importance of continuing the production and export of livestock products in challenging economic and wartime conditions at the opening ceremony of the 25th International Exhibition of Livestock, Poultry, and Related Industries. He expressed gratitude for the efforts of producers in this field, referring to Iran's changing position in the production and supply of dairy products, stating: "Today, Iranian products are available in the stores of neighboring countries, and this is a source of pride."

Continuing Production in Wartime and Sanctions

Ghaempanah stated that despite the pressures from war and sanctions, those in the livestock and poultry sector have managed to maintain their production. He appreciated the efforts of the Ministry of Jihad Agriculture to preserve production infrastructure during recent wars and mentioned the continuous monitoring of production trends and the adoption of technical and managerial decisions.

The Executive Vice President also referred to the continuation of the export of livestock and poultry products, stating: "Despite several decades of sanctions, Iran has not only created significant capacities for meeting domestic needs but is also active in exports." He added that the export of products such as eggs, chicken meat, and dairy products has continued over the past eight months.

The Necessity of Modernizing Infrastructure and Managing Energy Consumption

Ghaempanah emphasized the necessity of completing the value chain of livestock products, stressing the use of advanced technologies to enhance productivity and modernize infrastructure. He also pointed to the challenges of energy supply in the country and called for early planning for energy consumption management by producers.

He stated: "We must use existing resources optimally to minimize damage to production units under energy constraints." According to him, farms and poultry houses should take necessary measures for the cold season from now on.

In conclusion, the Executive Vice President referred to the President's emphasis on maintaining production continuity, stating that all sectors must strive to increase economic resilience so that potential energy constraints do not disrupt the operations of production units and the supply of people's needs.
