Family and Multigenerational Experiences
Royal Caribbean International has also joined this market with the introduction of the Ultimate Family Treehouse on the Hero of the Seas ship. This suite can accommodate up to twelve people and includes features such as a digital play area, a cinema, and a private space for teenagers.
According to statistics, family and multigenerational travel is one of the fastest-growing segments in the tourism industry. Based on a report from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), by 2025, more than a quarter of travelers will be traveling in groups of five or more. This statistic reflects the increasing desire for family travel.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, stated: "With the growing demand for family and multigenerational travel, we are always looking for new ways to enhance our guests' experiences to create unique and memorable moments." This approach reflects the efforts of these companies to attract more travelers and meet their needs.
