The Director General of Alborz Gas Company stated that the gas imbalance in the country has intensified and announced that based on the issued directive, Alborz Province must reduce its gas consumption in all sectors by 20% this winter compared to last year.

This decision has been made to maintain balance and meet the consumption needs of the country. Given the gas shortage and increased demand in the winter season, the necessity of this action is felt even more. Additionally, forecasts indicate that, considering the weather conditions, gas consumption will increase this winter. Therefore, a 20% reduction in consumption will not only help meet domestic needs but can also prevent potential crises in gas supply.
