Abbas Aliabadi, the Minister of Energy, emphasized the importance of developing the electricity network infrastructure at the inauguration ceremony of the 63/20 kV Jahrom 4 substation, which was constructed with an investment of 275 billion tomans. This project includes the construction of the 63/20 kV Jahrom 4 substation with a capacity of 40 megavolt-amperes and a double-circuit transmission line with a length of 10.6 kilometers.
Project Details and Investment
The Jahrom 4 substation has been designed and implemented to increase the capacity of the electricity network in the Jahrom region. Of the total investment of 275 billion tomans, 195 billion tomans were allocated to the construction of the substation and 80 billion tomans to the transmission line. The commissioning of this project aims to provide sustainable energy and meet the new consumption needs in this region.

The Role of Infrastructure Development in the Economy
During the ceremony, Abbas Aliabadi stated that the development of transmission and sub-distribution networks is essential for sustainable energy supply and supporting the development of various regions of the country, saying: "Strengthening and developing the electricity network not only increases the reliability of electricity supply but also provides a better environment for the development of industrial, agricultural, and economic activities."
Navab Qaedi, the CEO of the Fars Regional Electric Company, continued by referring to the specifications of this project, stating: "The commissioning of this substation has increased the capacity of the electricity network in the Jahrom region and provides a more reliable electricity supply for consumers."
Qaedi also pointed out the role of this project in improving electricity supply conditions for various consumption sectors in the Jahrom region, saying: "The implementation of this project is a step towards increasing the maneuverability and stability of the network."
The 63/20 kV Jahrom 4 substation and its associated double-circuit transmission line represent an effective step towards developing the electricity network infrastructure and increasing energy supply capacity in this region. With the commissioning of this project, new capacity has been added to the electricity network of Jahrom County, which can help improve economic conditions and develop various activities in this region.
