Venture Global has achieved one of the most significant milestones in the development of the Plaquemines LNG export facility in Louisiana with the commencement of commercial operations (COD) in the first phase. This success has occurred just 53 months after the final investment decision (FID) was made and is recognized as one of the fastest greenfield LNG developments.

Venture Global has announced that commercial operations in the first phase of the Plaquemines LNG project have begun, and the first shipment has been loaded by Shell following COD confirmation.
