The Head of the Energy Commission of the Parliament, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mousa Ahmadi, referred to the latest plans regarding fuel consumption management and gasoline rationing in a report. He stated that the Energy Commission of the Parliament has formed a special working group to prevent fuel smuggling and optimize fuel consumption, adding: "This working group is currently holding continuous meetings with the Ministry of Oil, the National Oil Refining and Distribution Company, and the Organization for the Optimization of Energy Consumption."
Phases of Fuel Organization Plan Implementation
Ahmadi continued to mention the phases of implementing the fuel organization plan and said: "This process is defined in three phases. The first phase was implemented as a pilot in a number of fuel stations, and in the second phase, this plan has been expanded to about three thousand stations." He also emphasized that the goal of these actions is to optimize fuel consumption and prevent its smuggling.

Use of Bank Cards for Fueling
The representative of Kangān, Dīr, Jam, and Asaluyeh in the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Mousa Ahmadi, stated: "According to the planned arrangements, starting next week, the use of bank cards for fueling at all fuel stations in the country will be made possible." He added: "This strategic policy of the government and the parliament is a transition from station cards to the use of personal fuel cards and bank cards."
Ahmadi also responded to rumors circulating on social media regarding the reduction of the 1500 Toman gasoline quota and sudden price changes, stating: "We are not looking to create shock in society and do not confirm the unofficial news published in this regard."
The Head of the Energy Commission of the Parliament emphasized that the main policy in organizing fuel consumption is to use smart tools and create the possibility for accurate transaction registration and monitoring so that, while managing consumption, the ground for combating fuel smuggling is also provided.
