Hadi Chabok, the director of the eighth refinery of the South Pars gas complex, pointed out the extensive repair operations at this refinery, stating that over 1,500 repair activities have been planned this year, equivalent to 70,000 man-hours of work. These operations will be carried out over a 9-day period and are considered a focused and intensive project.

Repairs and Inspections Before the Cold Season

Chabok added: During this period, 20 lines that had reduced thickness were replaced, and inspections for measuring the thickness of tanks and checking for leaks were conducted to identify and resolve any issues before the onset of the cold season. These actions demonstrate a significant effort to maintain safety and efficiency in the energy production process.

The Role of Specialists in Repairs

Hasan Yarayi, the maintenance manager of the eighth refinery, noted the need for expertise in this project, stating: For this work, 650 experienced specialists and engineers were invited. This operation began during the hot summer days and continues around the clock using night shifts.

Mohammad Sifi, the deputy of Site One of the South Pars gas complex, also referred to the compensation for damages incurred at this refinery and stated: About 50 percent of the capacity that the refinery had lost due to an incident is now returning to the production cycle. This is one of our main priorities in ensuring the country's energy supply.

Future Outlook and Energy Savings

Sifi expressed hope that engineers consider the public as partners in this production cycle and hoped that with savings and optimal use of energy, we would have a very good year. These statements reflect a serious commitment to improving production status while respecting the country’s energy resources.
