Hojjatoleslam and Muslims Seyyed Hossein Hosseini, the Friday Imam of Pardis County, addressed the importance of national unity against foreign threats in this week's political-religious Friday prayer sermons. He pointed to the message of the Supreme Leader to elites and medalists, stating that excellence should manifest in the realm of jihad and solving the country's issues.

Elites and the Needs of the Country

Hosseini emphasized that a revolutionary elite should dedicate their talents to solving the country's issues, from advanced technologies to the livelihood of the people. He referred to martyr scientists like Fakhrizadeh and Shahriari, highlighting the role of elites in creating national security and scientific advancement, saying: "Scientific progress is not an option for us, but a vital and defensive necessity."

National Security Challenges and Regional Developments

The Friday Imam of Pardis County also discussed the recent developments in the Strait of Hormuz and their impact on global financial and energy markets, stating: "Oil above $116 and rampant inflation in the West have left the enemy in complete despair." He outlined potential scenarios against threats and emphasized the necessity of readiness and responsiveness of the armed forces.

Hojjatoleslam Hosseini, referring to the economic impacts of external pressures on Iran on global markets, stressed the need to strengthen the logic of active resistance in the current conditions. He also added: "Decisive sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz and dignified diplomacy are two wings of flight that have left the enemy in complete despair."

The Necessity of National Unity

Hojjatoleslam Kazem Fattah-Damavand, the Friday Imam of Damavand, also emphasized the necessity of national unity and defensive readiness against threats from the United States and Israel. He stated that unity between the people and officials could lead to the enemy's retreat. Fattah-Damavand also provided explanations about the strategic position of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's role in managing traffic through this waterway.

These statements come at a time when regional tensions and foreign threats are sharply increasing, and coordination and national unity are emphasized as a necessity to confront these challenges.
