The partnership agreement for the development of innovative energy imbalance management solutions among the subsidiaries of the Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Holding Company (TAPICO) has been signed, and the special plan "Combating Energy Imbalance" of this holding has entered the implementation phase.
Objectives of the Agreement
This agreement has been signed in line with the country's macro policies in the field of energy consumption management and reducing natural gas imbalance. The project manager for the reconstruction and modernization of the Fajr Energy Persian Gulf power plants announced the simultaneous revival of the Fajr 1 and Fajr 2 power plants and the return of about 400 megawatts of electricity to the national grid.

The agreement has been concluded between the Firman Co. Pars Engineering and Installation Company and the Petrochemical Companies Fanavaran, Khorasan Petrochemical, and Persia Iran, and was signed on the sidelines of the Shasta Energy Committee meeting. In this ceremony, Rouhollah Shahidipour, CEO of TAPICO Holding, described the signing of these agreements as a step towards combating energy imbalance in the country.
Response to Energy Challenges
Rouhollah Shahidipour also stated that the aim of signing these agreements is to develop investment in effective economic projects in the field of gas consumption optimization and energy management. Ali Asghar Rajabi, the energy and carbon manager of the National Iranian Gas Company, also described the signing of the partnership agreement among TAPICO's subsidiaries as "the beginning of a great endeavor in the country by TAPICO."
He welcomed TAPICO's entry into the field of developing energy imbalance management solutions and thanked the senior managers of this holding for their involvement in this area. Davar Nazari, the Deputy for Innovation and Knowledge-Based Economy of Shasta, also considered the signing of these agreements as a valuable action, highlighting TAPICO's position in the energy sector.
Investment Call
Recently, TAPICO has issued a call for investment and participation in natural gas optimization and conservation projects. This holding, through the executive agency Firman Co. Pars, is pursuing the identification, evaluation, investment, and participation in natural gas optimization and conservation projects.
According to the announced program, various projects in the field of gas consumption management and optimization have been considered. This approach aims to reduce consumption and gas waste, assist in managing energy imbalance, and create new investment opportunities in the energy sector.
TAPICO's entry into investment and participation in gas consumption optimization projects, alongside the activities of this holding's subsidiaries in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, is part of this group's plan to develop activities related to energy management and energy security.
