Skyborn Renewables has finalized the financing for the Gennaker offshore wind farm project with a capacity of 976.5 megawatts in the Baltic Sea of Germany. This project is recognized as the largest offshore wind project in the region and, with the release of over 3 billion euros (3.47 billion dollars) in investment, demonstrates the company's commitment to the development of renewable energy in Germany.
Financing Details
The financing for the Gennaker project includes a non-recourse financial package worth 2.1 billion euros (2.43 billion dollars) arranged by 16 commercial lenders and a European investment bank. This financing will help Skyborn Renewables to commence the construction and operation phases of the project.
