An agreement was signed to optimize energy consumption and manage natural gas imbalance between Fanavaran Petrochemical Company and TAPIKO Holding. This agreement, executed by Firmco Pars Engineering and Installation Company, is presented as a fundamental operational step in the management of the country's energy.
Importance of the Agreement in Energy Management
Dr. Hossein Rafighdoost, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, emphasized the importance of this memorandum, stating: "The sustainability of production in petrochemical complexes is directly tied to the proper management of energy flow." He added that Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, by leading this agreement, aims to utilize innovative technical and infrastructural solutions to reduce risks arising from imbalances during peak consumption, while fulfilling its share in preserving national resources and ensuring maximum production continuity.

TAPIKO Holding's Approach to Economic Investments
During the signing ceremony of this agreement, attended by Dr. Rouhollah Shahidipour, CEO of TAPIKO Holding, the supportive and strategic role of the holding in developing economic investments was emphasized. Dr. Shahidipour described this agreement as a significant step in addressing energy imbalance in the country and aligned with social responsibility.
Additionally, Dr. Ali-Asghar Rajabi, Energy and Carbon Manager at the National Gas Company of Iran, welcomed this initiative, calling the agreement "the beginning of a great endeavor in the country" and appreciated the senior management of the holding for their specialized entry into this field. Dr. Davar Nazari, Deputy for Innovation and Knowledge-Based Economy at Shasta, also evaluated this agreement as a valuable action in TAPIKO Holding's leadership in energy management.
According to the "Karvar Plan," Fanavaran Petrochemical Company, in collaboration with Firmco Pars, will prioritize the identification and implementation of energy efficiency enhancement projects in its operational programs. This agreement not only addresses seasonal challenges in supplying feedstock and fuel but is also formulated in line with Fanavaran Petrochemical Company's overarching strategy for transitioning to sustainable production and reducing energy consumption intensity.
