Peiman Jabali, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, at a meeting with economic and industrial activists in East Azerbaijan on September 17, referred to the country's economic problems and their impact on the advertising revenues of the organization. He stated that the assumption that the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting has access to a large and unlimited financial source is incorrect, adding: "The total dedicated revenues and the budget allocated by the government are spent on missions that are now significantly broader than in the past."
The 'Iran Jan' Campaign and Introduction of Economic Capacities
Jabali continued by mentioning the implementation of the 'Iran Jan' campaign, describing its goal as opening the national media window to the capacities, issues, and demands of various provinces in the country. He stated that this campaign will help introduce investment opportunities and existing challenges in the provinces. Additionally, he suggested that during the campaign, 10 investment opportunities in various fields be introduced to familiarize investors with the capacities of the province.

The National Media's Responsibility in Addressing Economic Issues
Jabali emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting alone cannot solve all the country's problems, stating: "The duty of the national media is cultural development, advocacy, and introducing capacities and achievements." He also referred to the experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting in addressing some national issues, noting that these experiences increase the responsibility of the national media. He added: "If we have been able to help solve a specific problem through advocacy, focus, and utilizing all capacities, we can play a more effective role in other issues as well."
Jabali further stated that the economic and industrial issues and demands of East Azerbaijan have been repeatedly raised in live reports by the national media, emphasizing that these topics will also be pursued in the context of new programs. He also referred to the scientific and knowledge-based capacities of the province, saying: "There are dozens of knowledge-based and industrial units in the province that need to be given attention."
At the end, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting stressed the need for national and provincial officials to pay attention to the demands of economic activists, stating: "The issues and suggestions of activists and experts in the fields of industry, mining, agriculture, and knowledge-based economy should be considered at both the provincial and national levels, and the national media will pursue these demands to the best of its ability."
