Mohammad Rashidi, representative of Kermanshah and a member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly's Board of Directors, stated that the Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until Iran's seven conditions in the Islamabad agreement are fulfilled. In this context, he examined the prevailing conditions of relations between Iran and the United States and pointed out the violations of agreements by the United States.

Iran's Seven Conditions

Rashidi clarified that Iran has proposed seven main conditions in the Islamabad agreement. These conditions include the lifting of sanctions, the end of the blockade, and the cessation of war. According to this parliament member, until these conditions are met, not only will the Strait of Hormuz remain closed, but Iran will never yield to America's pressures.

Violations of Agreements by the United States

Rashidi also referred to the violations of agreements by the United States and mentioned the creation of insecurity and attacks on various regions of Iran as part of this violation. He emphasized that the imposition of a naval blockade and sanctions against Iran contradicts the spirit of the Islamabad agreement and these actions could escalate tensions in the region.

He added that the United States should not interfere in the relations of regional countries and issues related to the Strait of Hormuz and stressed: "Regional issues should be resolved by the countries of the region."

Rashidi also said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran will never allow the United States to impose its conditions on Iran, and we are seeking to strengthen our positions against these pressures. For this reason, the Strait of Hormuz will not be opened until Iran's seven conditions are met."
