The Norwegian shipping company Havila Shipping has extended its contract for two platform supply vessels (PSV) with energy company Equinor for another year. These contracts will continue to support Equinor's operations on offshore platforms in Norway.
Contract Extension Details
The vessel Havila Charisma, built in 2012, will remain on charter to Equinor until December 16, 2027. Additionally, the vessel Havila Foresight, built in 2008, will serve the company until January 1, 2028. Both vessels have been continuously working for Equinor since their delivery and have supported the company's operations along the continental coast of Norway.

Background of the Contracts
This extension follows separate extensions that were made late last year. In November 2025, Equinor activated a one-year option for Havila Charisma, keeping the vessel in service until December 2026. Additionally, in December 2026, the contract for Havila Foresight was extended until January 2027. The two vessels initially signed three-year contracts in December 2020, each having four additional one-year options for contract extension.
These contracts represent the trust and close cooperation between Havila Shipping and Equinor and will assist in the continued operations of Norway's oil facilities. Given the increasing demand for energy supply and marine services, such collaborations are expected to continue in the future, strengthening the position of both companies in the energy market.
