The Iranian automotive industry has faced numerous challenges. Bombing of key industries and infrastructure, disruption of the supply chain, and special conditions for maritime transport are among the problems that have affected this industry. According to Hamid Keshavarz, the cost of maritime transport has risen sharply, impacting the overall cost of vehicles.

However, Kruz, Bahman, and Iran Khodro companies have continued to prioritize production. Maintaining employment and production in difficult economic conditions has been one of the main goals of these companies. Keshavarz emphasized that losing production would directly mean the loss of over 700,000 jobs.
The Role of Kruz and Iran Khodro in Job Preservation
Kruz Company, as a key player in the automotive industry, is striving to maintain the supply chain with a daily production of 4.5 million parts. Despite the challenging conditions, the company has managed to retain its workforce, estimated at around 90,000 people. Additionally, Iran Khodro has achieved a 4% growth in production this year by producing 566,000 vehicles.
According to this report, the establishment and development of economic enterprises during the war and sanctions demonstrate the resilience and determination of Iranian entrepreneurs. At the Amin al-Darb award ceremony, Keshavarz was introduced as one of the top entrepreneurs in the country and emphasized the importance of maintaining production and employment.
Ultimately, despite all the challenges and problems, the automotive industry continues its activities through continuous efforts and strives to maintain the supply chain, aiming to prevent a decline in production and preserve employment in the country.
