Colonel Mohammad Ali Izati, head of the Economic Security Police of Hormozgan province, announced the discovery of 30,000 liters of smuggled fuel lacking legal permits in a tanker truck. This discovery was made as part of a plan to combat the smuggling of goods and fuel.
Details of the Smuggled Shipment Discovery
According to reports, the Economic Security Police officers, while controlling passing vehicles on the connecting roads, became suspicious of a fuel tanker truck. After issuing a stop order, the officers conducted an inspection of the truck and successfully discovered 30,000 liters of smuggled fuel.

Value of the Shipment and Its Consequences
The head of the Economic Security Police of Hormozgan province stated that the value of the discovered shipment is estimated at 15 billion rials according to economic experts. In this regard, one truck driver was arrested and introduced to the judicial authorities after a case was formed. These actions demonstrate the police's determination to combat smugglers of national assets.
Colonel Izati further urged citizens to report any illegal activities related to the smuggling of goods and fuel through the 110 emergency police hotline. This request is made in the context of public cooperation with law enforcement to reduce smuggling in the country.
