The Deputy of Distribution Coordination at Tavanir has traveled to Alborz to participate in the implementation of the twenty-fifth nationwide drill for smart energy loss management (Mahtab). Hassan Bagloo, referring to the reduction in electricity consumption in recent days and the forecast of lower temperatures by the Meteorological Organization, said: "We hope that with the reduction of imbalance, there will be no power outages from the beginning of the week."
Emphasis on saving electricity consumption
Bagloo added: "Resolving the electricity imbalance depends on the balance between production and consumption, and we expect people to continue to save on their consumption." These statements come at a time when the country has faced serious challenges in electricity supply during the hot season, and the need for public cooperation in managing consumption is felt.

Details of the nationwide Mahtab drill
The Deputy of Distribution Coordination at Tavanir further pointed to the objectives of the nationwide Mahtab drill and said: "Smart energy management, collecting illegal connections, and addressing unauthorized uses of the electricity network, especially in the mining sector, are among the goals of this drill." He also noted that this drill is held every Tuesday and Thursday, and currently, the electricity distribution companies of the provinces are actively participating in it.
Bagloo stated: "Based on the evaluations conducted, the electricity distribution company of Alborz province has secured the first rank in the country in terms of smart energy loss management and holding drills." In this nationwide drill, 53,000 people participated in 1,730 teams from the electricity distribution companies of the provinces.
Alborz province's performance in consumption management
The CEO of the electricity distribution company of Alborz province also mentioned the participation of 47 teams from this province in the twenty-fifth nationwide Mahtab drill, stating: "Since mid-June, with the anticipation of necessary measures and the formation of technical and operational teams in testing and inspection areas, we have performed well in all technical and economic indicators, and for this reason, we were selected as the top province in smart consumption management."
This report reflects ongoing efforts to improve energy management and reduce the decline in the quality of electricity services. Given the climatic conditions and the increasing demand for energy in the hot season, it is expected that continuous actions in this area will continue.
