The National Oil Distribution Company of Iran has released a new announcement detailing the gasoline quota for private passenger cars. According to this announcement, all private passenger cars, except for government vehicles, imported cars, and those in free zones, as well as the second and subsequent cars owned by multi-car owners, are eligible for a quota of 60 liters at 1500 tomans and 50 liters at 3000 tomans.
Review of Quotas for Cars Over One Billion Tomans
This announcement mentions that newly produced private passenger cars, which were previously set to have a quota limit of one billion tomans, are currently under review for an increase in the price ceiling due to market changes by the relevant working group. These changes could significantly impact the allocation of gasoline quotas to this category of vehicles.

The public relations department of the National Oil Distribution Company of Iran emphasized at the end of the announcement that the only change made to gasoline prices since September 8 of this year was the increase of the third rate from 5000 tomans to 10000 tomans, and there has been no change in the amount and method of previous quota allocations. This could help stabilize the market and provide predictability regarding fuel supply for vehicle owners.
