Abdolhossein Hemmati, in an interview with Shana reporter, referred to the continuous meetings of the Energy Commission of the Parliament and the Task Force for Resolving Imbalance, stating: In these meetings, the readiness of the electricity network, fuel reserves for power plants, and energy supply plans for the cold months of the year are reviewed. Greater interaction between the ministries of Oil and Power to implement operational solutions is on the agenda.
Actions of the Ministry of Oil and Fuel Reserves
Hemmati, appreciating the actions of the Ministry of Oil in improving the status of fuel reserves for power plants this year, added: Continuation of this trend, removing executive obstacles, completing liquid fuel reserves, and anticipating alternative resources, especially in the northern regions of the country, is essential. These actions are aimed at ensuring sustainable energy and preventing imbalance in the electricity and gas networks.

Energy Consumption Management and Network Dependency
A member of the Board of Directors of the Energy Commission of the Parliament emphasized the interdependence of the electricity and gas networks, stating: Changing consumption patterns, especially replacing gas with electricity in the heating sector, without assessing the capacity of the network can put additional pressure on electricity infrastructure. Therefore, simultaneous management of electricity and gas consumption is very important.
Hemmati also referred to the impact of increased household demand and the damage inflicted on production and processing infrastructure on the country's energy supply, stating: Continuing the consumption restrictions on industries and power plants is not an appropriate solution to address the imbalance, and more should be made of demand management and consumption optimization capacities.
Transforming Savings into Sustainable Governance
He deemed it essential to transform savings from a seasonal recommendation into a part of sustainable energy governance, stating: Transparent communication about production and consumption status and engaging public participation in consumption management plays a significant role in reducing imbalance and ensuring sustainable energy across the country.
