The country's energy consumption management program has entered the operational phase with an emphasis on saving and optimizing energy resources. This action was initiated by the order of Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, to ensure sustainable energy and to pass through the upcoming winter without challenges. In this regard, the managerial and executive capacities of the provinces have been activated, and the mechanism for real-time monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the agencies has been put on the agenda.
Details of the Energy Consumption Management Program
The government's operational program for energy consumption management has been designed at three levels: executive agencies and the public sector, the economic and production sector, and also the public and household sector. In the coordination meeting for energy and fuel consumption management, chaired by Pezeshkian, the necessity of converting guidelines into measurable executive actions and establishing a continuous monitoring mechanism was emphasized.

Pezeshkian, in this meeting, appreciated the efforts of the managers of the executive agencies, especially the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Oil, emphasized the continuity of management and coordination among the agencies, and said: "With the continuation of this trend, we can pass this winter without problems."
Requirements and Executive Actions
In this regard, the President outlined the requirements for consumption management in executive agencies and emphasized the immediate formation of a daily performance monitoring room for the agencies. He also referred to the training and briefing of personnel on methods to reduce energy consumption, engineering and optimizing buildings, and implementing the announced regulations.
Pezeshkian also emphasized the necessity of cooperation between the production sector and economic activists with the government and said: "The conditions of the country must be clarified for the people so that everyone knows that this year more than ever, we need serious public participation in energy consumption savings."
Finally, the President emphasized that energy consumption management is the most important indicator for evaluating the performance of managers across the country, and managers must completely eliminate wastefulness and excessive consumption in their agencies and offices.
