The head of national media, Peyman Jabali, emphasized the importance of promoting renewable energies during a joint meeting with Mohsen Taraztalab, the Deputy Minister and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization (SATBA). This meeting was held with the aim of further cooperation in the development of clean energy resources and optimizing energy consumption.

Energy Imbalance Challenges and the Development of Renewable Resources

In this meeting, Jabali referred to the government's efforts to address the energy imbalance challenge and said: "Utilizing renewable energies not only brings economic savings but also enhances people's livelihoods and increases community resilience in critical conditions." He also mentioned the goal of producing 30,000 megawatts of renewable energy in the next two years, stating: "Today we are close to a production capacity of 8,000 megawatts and will soon surpass 12,000 megawatts."

The Role of National Media in Promoting Efficient Consumption Culture

The head of national media also referred to the production of over 384 hours of programming in the past year focused on solar energy and emphasized that this organization has always been active in promoting a culture of efficient energy consumption. He stated: "In 1402, when the energy imbalance situation was concerning, national media emphasized the necessity of efficient consumption, and according to reports, over 30% reduction in energy consumption has been achieved due to the efforts of national media."

Jabali also pointed out the need to equip national media buildings with solar cells, saying: "National media can lead in promoting the culture of using renewable energies." Taraztalab also stressed the importance of national media's cooperation in producing and promoting renewable energy, stating: "An agreement has been signed under which up to 40 megawatts of renewable electricity will be supplied using national media lands."

Given the challenges ahead in the energy sector, cooperation between national media and the Renewable Energy Organization can help form a coherent and efficient program for the development and promotion of clean energies. This collaboration could lead to meeting energy needs and reducing pressure on the country's fossil resources.
