Ali-Asghar Tahmasbi, the Governor of Golestan, stated in the employment working group of the province that no production unit should be shut down due to energy imbalance. In this meeting, he elaborated on the current economic challenges and the importance of preserving production and employment.

The necessity of managing energy imbalance

Tahmasbi pointed out the economic and media war waged by enemies, stating that the goal of this war is to reduce the resilience of society and create pressure on the people. Therefore, managers must strive to maintain production and the livelihoods of the people and prevent economic problems from halting the activities of production units.

The Governor of Golestan also referred to the necessity of resolving stagnant permits and mentioned that over 650 licenses, which had been held by individuals for between five to twelve years, have been revoked in the past year. This has hindered the entry of new investors into the province and requires identifying stagnant capacities and liberating them.

Providing fuel and employment loans

Tahmasbi asked the economic deputy of the governorate to pursue the issue of increasing the employment loan ceiling through the government, stating that it is not possible to create jobs with 350 million tomans. He also emphasized the necessity of providing alternative fuel for industries, agricultural units, and bakeries and called for monitoring the fuel situation of bakeries in the counties.

The Governor of Golestan mentioned that there are about 2,800 bakeries operating in the province and added: County governors must monitor the fuel situation of bakeries on the ground to ensure that there is no disruption in the supply and provision of bread during the cold season. Necessary measures have also been planned to provide alternative fuel for industrial and agricultural units.

He stated: Managers and industrial owners must strive to maintain their workforce, and executive agencies are obliged to take action to resolve the problems of production units. Tahmasbi added that if a unit faces problems due to energy imbalance, the issue should be reviewed in the relevant working groups before reaching the stage of shutdown.
