Ehsan Kermzadeh, the head of the Construction Deputy of Lorestan Governorate, presented preventive measures for managing energy imbalance during the cold season at the fifth meeting of the provincial energy consumption management working group on November 1st. This meeting was held to review solutions and necessary coordination to face the potential natural gas imbalance and ensure sustainable energy supply in various sectors.
Priorities in Fuel Supply
Kermzadeh emphasized preventing the interruption of gas supply to households, stating that if restrictions need to be imposed on the industrial sector, this action will be coordinated with the responsible agencies to minimize damage to the production and employment cycle. Additionally, the provision of alternative fuel for the province's bakeries was raised as another priority of this meeting.

Fuel Supply for Production Units
The head of the Construction Deputy of Lorestan Governorate identified the supply and storage of fuel needed for production and service units as another priority discussed. According to this program, ensuring sufficient reserves of kerosene, diesel, and fuel oil for water pumping stations, greenhouses, and poultry farms was emphasized, and the oil products distribution company was tasked with coordinating the necessary arrangements for supplying fuel to these sectors.
Kermzadeh also highlighted the importance of conducting joint field visits to poultry farms and greenhouses, adding that these visits will be carried out in collaboration with the Agricultural Jihad Organization and the provincial gas company to accurately assess energy consumption status.
Energy Consumption Management in Buildings
Furthermore, Kermzadeh stressed the importance of energy consumption management in the building sector and announced that adherence to standards and requirements in construction and the use of energy-saving solutions should be pursued in cooperation with the Building Engineering System Organization and other relevant agencies. Continuous supervision of heating facilities in executive agencies and industrial units is another action that will be jointly carried out by the gas company and the Standards Organization.
The head of the Construction Deputy of Lorestan Governorate, in the final part of his remarks, referred to the program for distributing high-efficiency heaters in cold regions and requested the gas company to continue the distribution process of these heaters.
