Colonel Kamran Khoshnamvand, the police chief of Mahshahr County, announced the discovery of 33,000 liters of smuggled diesel as part of a campaign against the smuggling of goods, currency, and fuel. This shipment was identified yesterday during patrols by the economic security police on the routes leading to Mahshahr County.
Details of the Seized Shipment
Police officers approached a suspicious truck and, after coordinating with judicial authorities, proceeded to inspect the confiscated vehicle. During this inspection, 33,000 liters of diesel were discovered, which were outside the legal distribution cycle. Experts estimated the monetary value of this smuggled shipment at 9 billion and 900 million rials.
