The discovery of 31,572 liters of smuggled fuel in Mahyariz County led to a case with the value of this shipment estimated at 44 billion and 641 million rials. The head of the Yazd General Directorate of Governmental Supervision, Mohammad Norouzi, provided explanations in this regard and stated that investigations conducted in the first branch of the primary court and the special branch for dealing with smuggling violations confirmed the charges against the offender.

Norouzi added: Due to the lack of legal documents provided by the offender, the mentioned branch, in addition to confiscating the smuggled fuel shipment, sentenced him to pay 89 billion and 282 million rials as a fine, which is double the value of the discovered goods. Additionally, a fine of 44 billion and 641 million rials was added for the vehicle carrying the smuggled goods, bringing the total fine for the offender to 133 billion and 923 million rials. This ruling was executed after the legal time period and the case was closed.

Discovery of the Shipment and Processing Procedure
Police forces in the Shahid Madani checkpoint in Mahyariz County successfully discovered this shipment of smuggled fuel. The smuggled fuels were concealed in polymer tanks and, with careful examination, this shipment was identified and confiscated.
