Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, passionately spoke at the recent BRICS Business Forum about the dire economic situation of his country following the military actions of America and Israel. He emphasized that these wars not only threaten Iran's national security but also inflict serious damage on the country's economy.

Pezeshkian stated that there is no separation between economic security and national and regional security. He added that sanctions and military tensions have brought Iran new challenges in securing economic and social resources. According to him, this new situation leads the country towards more serious dangers.
At this conference, Pezeshkian referred to the necessity of greater cooperation with BRICS member countries and stated that only by strengthening economic ties can external threats be countered. He emphasized that despite multiple challenges, Iran is ready to cooperate with these countries in various economic and security fields.
