A.P. Moller Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Euroports Group, a leading port terminal operator and provider of logistics solutions. This action is recognized as the latest move in a series of investments in the ports and supply chain sector.

History of Euroports and Its Performance

Euroports Group has been operational since 2006 and has expanded its operations in the breakbulk cargo sector through a series of acquisitions. The company now operates over 50 port terminals in deep sea and inland across 10 European countries and China. Euroports manages more than 70 million tons of dry, breakbulk, and liquid cargo annually, including fertilizers, agricultural products, sugar, fruits, forest products, metals, and minerals. The company also manages Manuport Logistics, an independent transport company, in over 20 countries.

Investment Analysis and Strategy

Kim Fejfer, Managing Partner and CEO of A.P. Moller Capital, noted, "In a changing world, resilient supply chains and secure trade flows are increasingly essential for economic stability and growth." He pointed to the long-term value of combining Euroports' strong operational platform with A.P. Moller Capital's industrial expertise, adding that this collaboration will help develop Euroports as a leading provider of logistics infrastructure.

The new consortium will be led by the majority-owned A.P. Moller Capital. Two other investment funds, SFPIM and PMV, will remain as shareholders and are committed to supporting the long-term development of the company. R-LOGITECH, an international logistics service provider primarily focused on essential goods, will exit Euroports as part of this deal.

Investors have stated that the management structure, governance framework, and strategic direction of the company will be maintained. The current management team, which has achieved sustainable growth in recent years, will continue under the new ownership structure.

Investors have also expressed support for management plans to expand Euroports' activities, broaden its scope, and attract additional customers and volumes, while maintaining high service standards and a commitment to responsible growth and creating long-term value for all stakeholders.
