Ahmadi discussed the formation of a working group and special committee in the Energy Commission to examine the gasoline situation, stating: "We have invited experts, specialists, and scholars to present their views and solutions." He added that good reports have been submitted to the commission, and he himself has reviewed some articles and studies that provide various solutions for managing the gasoline situation.

New policies on the use of fuel cards
Ahmadi further referred to the government's policies regarding the use of fuel cards, stating: "The policy we are pursuing in the commission is to direct consumers towards using personal fuel cards and bank cards." He noted that these changes could help prevent fuel smuggling, emphasizing: "Transactions and consumption levels will be traceable, and it will be clear who has used fuel with which card."
He also responded to a question about the timeline for the public implementation of this plan, saying: "Last week, we invited the Deputy Minister of Economy and other relevant agencies for a meeting on this matter. Initially, the use of bank cards began as a pilot in a few stations and then expanded. Now this plan is being organized and implemented in about 3,000 stations."
Ahmadi explained the limitations on using gasoline quotas at the third rate, stating that there are restrictions considered for bank cards, but policymaking in this regard is ongoing, and the government also has its specific plan. He emphasized that "unofficial statements should not create shock in society" and noted that some of the mentioned topics might mistakenly be perceived as the official opinion of the government or parliament.
