The head of the Energy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, Ahmadi, in a program focused on the status of gasoline rationing, explained the future plans of the government and parliament for fuel consumption management. He stated that the main goal of the new policies is to prevent fuel smuggling and optimize consumption. According to him, these policies will gradually be implemented using smart tools.
Phased Fuel Organization
Ahmadi further referred to the timeline for implementing the fuel organization plan and said: "This process has been defined in three phases. The first phase was piloted at a number of stations, and in the second phase, the expansion of this plan was carried out to 3,000 stations. According to the planned schedules, it is intended that next week the use of bank cards will become widespread at all fuel stations across the country."

Denial of Rumors Regarding Gasoline Quotas
The head of the Energy Commission also reacted to rumors circulating on social media about a reduction in gasoline quotas and price changes. Ahmadi emphasized: "We are not looking to create shock in society and do not confirm the unofficial news that has been published. Our main policy is to manage consumption through smart tools so that by recording transactions, accurate monitoring of consumption can be provided and fuel smuggling can be prevented."
He further noted: "The use of bank cards for refueling does not have specific limitations, and the rumors regarding a 100-liter limit on 10,000-toman gasoline are not true." These statements reflect the Energy Commission's efforts to create transparency in the fuel distribution process.
Ahmadi concluded by emphasizing that these actions are in line with the seventh development program of the country, and the ultimate goal is to gradually collect the free cards at stations and replace them with personal and bank cards to create transparency in the fuel distribution network.
