Ventura Offshore has signed a new contract for drilling the JKNE Upside-1 Dir well in Indonesia. This contract is considered another step in the company's offshore drilling activities and will help increase the company's workload and revenues.
Drilling Contract Details
This contract will be executed by Searah West Ganal Limited and Searah Ganal Deepwater Limited, both subsidiaries of Searah, which operates as a joint venture between Eni and Petronas. Ventura Offshore has announced that this contract includes drilling a new well and a surface well in Indonesia. With this contract, the company's workload will significantly increase, and these drilling activities are expected to continue until December 2026.

Financial Impact and Timeline
This new contract will add approximately $21.7 million to Ventura Offshore's fixed workload. Additionally, the company has previously added four other optional wells to its contracts, indicating its desire to expand its activities in the region. Ventura Offshore has started its operations for Eni in August 2024 and, in addition to drilling projects in Indonesia, also has a fixed-price option for drilling a well in Vietnam.
Ventura Offshore's fleet has been strengthened since June 2024 with the arrival of the SSV Catarina, which was purchased for $105 million. This new drilling platform allows the company to participate in more projects and exploit marine resources.
Given the increasing demand for energy and oil resources globally, these contracts could have a significant impact on Ventura Offshore's revenues and help solidify the company's position in the offshore drilling market.
