The Governor of East Azerbaijan, in a meeting held with the presence of economic activists in the province, examined the status of energy infrastructure and its impact on production and investment in the province. He clearly spoke about the existing weaknesses in electricity and energy infrastructure and emphasized that these problems hinder the attraction of necessary investments for the development of the province.

Information Imbalance and Production Challenges

The Governor further pointed to the information imbalance in the production sector and said: "This imbalance prevents economic planning from being carried out correctly and producers cannot continue their activities with sufficient confidence." He also stated that under the current conditions, entrepreneurs who have maintained production despite these problems deserve appreciation.

The necessity of improving infrastructure to attract investment

The Governor of East Azerbaijan emphasized that to attract new investments, energy infrastructure must be improved. He added: "The current conditions have caused many investors to withdraw from their projects in this province. Therefore, there is a need to review and revise energy policies as well as improve infrastructural capabilities."
He also stressed the necessity of cooperation between various public and private sectors to solve energy problems and said: "This cooperation can help us find solutions to improve the current situation by utilizing international experiences."

At the end of the meeting, the Governor urged all entrepreneurs and economic activists to present their opinions and suggestions regarding the improvement of energy infrastructure and production to the authorities. He expressed hope that with comprehensive cooperation, East Azerbaijan province can become one of the economic hubs of the country.
