New opportunities for Mozambique's LNG industry
SLB OneSubsea CEO, Mads Hjelmeland, commented on the project: "The Rovuma project is a significant opportunity for Mozambique's growing LNG industry, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with ExxonMobil's operations in Africa." This project could strengthen Mozambique's position as a key player in the liquefied natural gas (LNG) industry and accelerate the economic development of the country.
Given Mozambique's geographical location and its rich natural resources, the Rovuma project could lead to the creation of necessary infrastructure and attract more foreign investments. This could contribute to sustainable development and increased employment in the country.
The SLB OneSubsea contract with ExxonMobil will not only have a positive impact on the local economy but could also serve as a model for other similar projects in the region. Furthermore, this collaboration demonstrates the trust between two major companies in the energy sector that can work together for the optimal exploitation of natural resources.
