Shahram Raeisi, during a meeting of the Economic Headquarters and Economic Table of Isfahan Province, emphasized the challenges arising from energy imbalance and its impact on investment, providing solutions for industries to overcome these challenges. He stated that the issue of gas imbalance is a macro-level topic in national policymaking, exacerbated by increased consumption in the residential sector; however, at the provincial level, appropriate measures can be taken to manage these limitations.

Need for Supportive Resolutions

Raeisi pointed out the different conditions of production and industrial units in the province, stating that some investors only seek to obtain establishment permits from the relevant authorities and do not require gas connections or consumption in the coming years. He clarified that a negative response to these requests at early stages could lead to the halt of future development projects. Therefore, it is suggested that by issuing a specific resolution, gas supply be postponed until the time of operation, allowing construction processes to continue.

Providing Secondary Fuel and Resource Management

The Director General of the Investment and Employment Coordination Office of Isfahan Province referred to another aspect of follow-ups, stating that in industrial parks, there are units with high physical progress that need gas supply. Halting these units at the startup phase can lead to capital waste and reduced employment. Raeisi emphasized the necessity of full cooperation from the gas company to prevent these issues.

He also mentioned the challenges of providing secondary fuel for industries and stressed the need to revise existing procedures. Raeisi stated that using past consumption levels of units to calculate alternative fuel quotas is insufficient under current conditions, and there is a need to develop new regulations that align with the current realities of production. These actions can facilitate the transition to liquid fuel without interrupting factory operations.

In conclusion, Raeisi highlighted the importance of smart management of existing capacities in industrial parks, stating: "Some units have excess capacity, while others face shortages. This redistribution requires the design of precise legal and technical mechanisms to allocate idle capacities to active units."
