In line with the implementation of special operational plans to combat smuggling of goods and petroleum products, the officers of Police Station 14 in Khorramabad continue to diligently monitor and patrol the transportation routes in the area.

This morning, while patrolling and checking suspicious vehicles on the route, the officers became suspicious of an Isuzu tanker and stopped it. Upon inspecting the vehicle, the officers successfully discovered 3,000 liters of smuggled fuel that was being transported outside the official distribution network.

Colonel Hadi Kianmehr, the police commander of Khorramabad, emphasized that the police will firmly and decisively confront the smuggling of petroleum products. Following the seizure of the tanker, its driver was also arrested and referred to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
