Reza Rabiei, the head coach of Shahin Bandar Amir team, expressed concern about the 1-1 draw against Naft Bandar Abbas in the first week of the first division league. He believes that his team should have won this match by at least two goals.

He added: "We successfully completed a well-planned pre-season camp in Tehran and Karaj. He continued by discussing the technical performance of the team in the match against Naft: "In the worst case, we should have left the field with a 1-3 victory. We were the better team on the opponent's ground and created many opportunities; we hit the post twice and the opposing goalkeeper had a very good day." Rabiei also noted that his team has not yet reached complete tactical cohesion in the early weeks and needs time.
In response to the question of whether Shahin is aiming for promotion this year, he emphasized: "In our first year, we are looking for stability. Our goal is to build a team with a complete technical character, and we do not want to think solely about maintaining our quota. Of course, regarding long-term goals and promotion, we should allow a few weeks to pass so that we can make more comprehensive decisions with a more accurate assessment."
Trust in Players and the Second Week Derby
Rabiei also spoke about his trust in his players: "I am completely satisfied with all the players who are with us this year. A significant percentage of our team consists of talented and motivated individuals from Bushehr province. We consciously decided to give this golden opportunity to them and utilized local potential." He concluded by mentioning the derby in the second week against Pars Jonoubi, stating: "We are hosting at Shahid Mahdavi Stadium and we will do our best to secure all three points from this derby."
