Majid Al-Ansari, spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that efforts to bridge the views of Iran and the U.S. are still ongoing. These remarks come as the two countries are reviewing proposals to reach an agreement.
Coordination Among Regional Countries

These statements reflect the serious determination of neighboring countries to establish stability in the region.
Freedom of Navigation and Threats
The spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs also stated that freedom of navigation is a non-negotiable issue and rejected any threats against Qatari tankers and other tankers. These remarks come as tensions in the region, especially in the Strait of Hormuz, have increased.
Al-Ansari added: "We are closely cooperating with our partners in the region and the international community to end the current crisis." This cooperation could lead to strengthening peace and stability in the region.
Commitment of Both Parties to Negotiations
He also referred to both parties' commitment to the negotiation process, stating: "Doha is striving to reach an agreement that can build trust and enhance peace in the region." In this regard, Qatar is actively mediating to help reduce tensions and achieve a sustainable solution.
