Strengthening Cooperation and Managing Consumption
The Deputy Coordinator of Urban Affairs of the Fars Governorate considered holding joint meetings with the agricultural and industrial sectors essential for identifying needs and coordinating fuel supply and said: Continuous dialogue among executive agencies, gas and electricity companies, and representatives of production sectors helps to timely identify capacities and needs and plan for cold days.
Rezaei Koocheh also referred to the necessity of managing consumption in garden cities and said: Consumption management in these areas should simultaneously cover gas and electricity consumption and with appropriate planning, prevent the increase of load on one network due to reduced consumption in another network. He reminded that savings should lead to a real reduction in energy consumption and emphasized that the effects of any consumption management program should be examined on both networks.
Demand Management and Fuel Preservation
Rezaei Koocheh, referring to the province's immigration capacity and Fars's position in national gasoline consumption, deemed demand management and planning for sustainable fuel supply essential. He also mentioned increasing storage tank capacity as an effective measure to strengthen the province's preparedness during peak consumption periods. He considered the preservation of fuel and prevention of smuggling as requiring coordination among responsible agencies and emphasized pursuing solutions that, while protecting legal quotas, deliver fuel to actual consumers.
In conclusion, Rezaei Koocheh emphasized the necessity of examining the targeted use of LPG as one of the options for providing alternative fuel suitable for the needs and capacities of regions and said: With the cooperation of executive agencies, proactive planning, and public participation, it is possible to create the groundwork for sustainable energy supply, support production, and ensure the province's safe passage through the cold season.
