Prime Tanker Management has implemented the FleetVision™ platform across all vessels under its management with the aim of enhancing fleet safety. This system allows captains and shore teams to have clearer visibility into the daily operations of the vessels and provides stronger evidence to support safety improvements.
Integration of FleetVision with Safety Management Framework
The company has introduced FleetVision as a complement to its existing safety management framework. This framework includes audits, inspections, safety meetings, near-miss reports, and vessel visits. The FleetVision platform provides continuous visibility into operations between these control points and helps teams gain a better understanding of how procedures are applied and where more attention is needed in certain areas.

Measurable Improvement in Fleet Safety
Prime's fleet-focused approach has led to significant improvements in safety. Over a 60-day period, the company recorded a 76% reduction in deviations related to personal protective equipment (PPE), a 51% reduction in bridge-related deviations, and a 69% reduction in technical deviations. Participation in safety activities has also increased by 3.4 times.
The overall score of FleetVision for the company has improved from 82 to 94, indicating greater alignment with defined operational standards. This approach allows Prime to identify performance across vessels and strengthen expectations.
Marinos Sirigos, Vice COO and Head of Safety at Prime Tanker Management, stated: "FleetVision provides us with better visibility into how safety procedures are applied in daily operations. This system gives captains another tool to engage directly with the crew and helps us maintain safety standards across all vessels."
This system also strengthens a broader assurance framework for Prime. When discussing with TMSA and the largest oil companies, FleetVision provides objective evidence of how safety procedures are applied in daily operations and helps Prime demonstrate how risks are identified and performance improves over time.
