PACC Offshore Services Holdings (POSH), known for providing marine solutions in the oil and gas sector in Singapore, has acquired a work-class electric underwater vehicle (WROV) from Argus camera systems in Norway. This vehicle, known as Argus XL65, is fully equipped with two Schilling arms and a Top Hat TMS system.
New Mission in the Persian Gulf
This vehicle will soon be dispatched to the Persian Gulf to support diving operations and subsea facilities (SURF). This move is part of POSH's strategy to expand its activities in the Persian Gulf region, where it has recently signed contracts with several major companies.

New Contracts in the Persian Gulf
In August, POSH signed a contract with Subsea7 in the Arabian Gulf, which is set to be executed in the third quarter of 2026. This contract follows another long-term diving services contract in the Arabian Gulf that was signed at the end of July with an undisclosed client, with the diving support vessel (DSV) POSH Mallard designated for this work.
POSH has also successfully secured new marine contracts this summer, including vessels POSH Endeavour, POSH Enterprise, and POSH Elegance in the Arabian Gulf and Asia. These contracts have been obtained following the completion of construction support projects that have gone beyond the traditional scope of the company's activities.
The purchase of the Argus underwater vehicle and the expansion of contracts in the Persian Gulf reflect POSH's desire to strengthen its position in the evolving oil and gas market. With increasing demand for marine services and underwater operations in this region, companies are looking to invest in innovative technologies and improve the efficiency of their operations.
