Mohammad Reza Aref, the First Vice President, emphasized the provision of energy for industries and production as one of the government's priorities during a meeting of the Supreme Energy Council. He stated that power and gas cuts to industries mean halting production and unemployment for workers, which could lead to reduced economic growth and loss of export markets.
Efforts to Restore Damaged Gas
Aref, referring to the government's plan to restore 100 million cubic meters of damaged gas to the network before the onset of winter, urged people to help maintain the stability of the energy network by conserving electricity and gas. In this meeting, proposed scenarios for managing gas consumption in various sectors were reviewed, and the consumption share of each of these sectors was approved.

Aref announced that 250 million cubic meters of gas have been removed from the network and efforts are being made to restore 100 million cubic meters to the network before the onset of winter.
Plans for Solar Energy Development
The First Vice President further referred to the government's plans for solar energy development and said: "The President holds weekly meetings to finalize policies for resolving energy imbalances. The government has been successful in solar energy production." Aref stressed the need for cultural development regarding energy consumption management and added: "Some individuals are willing to pay fines but do not reduce their consumption." He concluded by urging all executive agencies to cooperate in energy provision and consumption reduction, emphasizing that without public cooperation, sustainable energy provision will not be possible.
