Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavy, the head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran, expressed gratitude for the presence of government officials at the 30th National Export Day ceremony and emphasized the importance of supporting exporters and removing internal barriers. He stated that National Export Day is an opportunity to appreciate those who have maintained the link between the domestic market and foreign customers.

Exporters' Resilience in Difficult Conditions

Dehghan Dehnavy noted that exporters have not halted trade despite the difficult conditions caused by war, sanctions, and economic blockade, adding: "Despite problems in transferring funds, exporters have remained committed to their obligations and have worked to sustain employment." This resilience has played a decisive role in maintaining the flow of trade and the continuity of the country's economic activities.

Developments in Foreign Trade and the Need for Infrastructure

The head of the Trade Development Organization of Iran referred to the slogan "Dynamic Trade, Value-Adding Exports," stating that this slogan serves as a criterion for assessing the performance of non-oil export actors. He also mentioned that the value of the country's foreign trade in 1404 has reached approximately 52 billion dollars. Although this figure has decreased compared to previous years, it remains higher than the level of foreign trade in earlier years.

Dehghan Dehnavy also pointed to a 140% growth in the export of technical and engineering services, attributing it to government support. He emphasized the importance of transportation routes in foreign trade, saying: "75% of the country's foreign trade is conducted via sea, but we have been able to identify alternative routes and continue trade."

In conclusion, Dehghan Dehnavy announced the formulation of 10 proposals to facilitate the export process and expressed hope that these proposals would be considered in the decision-making cycle to expedite the removal of barriers to export development.
