Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavy, the head of the Iran Trade Development Organization, emphasized the need to support exporters at the 30th National Export Day celebration, where he presented 10 solutions for eliminating export barriers. He pointed out the importance of exporters in sustaining foreign trade and economic stability in the country during this ceremony attended by high-ranking officials.
The Role of Exporters in Difficult Conditions
Dehghan Dehnavy highlighted the challenges posed by wars and sanctions, stressing the continuation of exporters' activities and stating: "Despite the difficulties related to the transfer of funds, these individuals remain committed to their obligations and are striving to maintain jobs and economic activities." He also noted that this year's National Export Day slogan, "Dynamic Trade, Value-Adding Exports," should be considered a criterion for assessing the performance of exporters in the non-oil sector.

Forecasting Foreign Trade and the Need for Reforms
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade further announced the forecast of the country's foreign trade value in the year 1404 to be around $52 billion and referred to existing challenges. He identified the decline in prices of petrochemical products, exported gas, and agricultural products as potential causes for the drop in foreign trade value. However, he pointed to the growth of non-oil exports in the industrial and mining sectors and reported a 140% increase in the export of technical and engineering services.
Dehghan Dehnavy also emphasized the importance of transportation routes in foreign trade, stating that 75% of the country's foreign trade was conducted via sea. He mentioned the definition of new routes for continuing trade under difficult conditions in collaboration with various organizations and support from the private sector.
Suggestions for Improving Export Conditions
The head of the Iran Trade Development Organization introduced the country's technical capabilities, specialized knowledge, and efficient human resources as economic potentials for expanding foreign trade. He emphasized: "Strengthening export capacities and focusing on creating added value can provide a way for the continuous and stronger presence of Iranian goods and services in global markets." Dehghan Dehnavy also announced the formulation of 10 proposals to remove obstacles to export development and expressed hope that the entry of these proposals into the decision-making process would expedite the resolution of exporters' issues.
In conclusion, the Export Atlas system was unveiled, and 13 outstanding national companies and 43 exemplary national companies were honored. This event reflects the government's serious determination to support exporters and improve foreign trade conditions.
