Search and rescue efforts
U.S. Coast Guard forces quickly dispatched air and surface teams to the search area after receiving news of the disappearance. Searches are currently underway near Nantucket Island, located south of Massachusetts. Weather conditions in Nantucket have been reported as clear on Saturday, which may assist in the search operations.
The Bermuda government is also in contact with U.S. officials and the families of the passengers. David Burt, the Prime Minister of Bermuda, stated in a statement that they are praying for the safety of the six individuals on the plane.
So far, Latitude Air Ambulance has not responded to inquiries regarding the incident, and it is unclear what factors led to the loss of communication with the aircraft. Search efforts continue, and further reports will be released on this matter.
