Sari - As production units in Mazandaran face serious challenges due to potential gas restrictions, the Director General of Industry, Mine and Trade of Mazandaran explicitly stated that providing more than 250 million liters of alternative fuel is essential for the continued operation of these units.
Concerns About Production Stoppage
According to the Director General, the lack of alternative fuel could lead to the stoppage or reduction of production activities, resulting in dire consequences for the province's economy and employment. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the flow of production in the province and stated that necessary measures must be taken to secure the required fuel as soon as possible.
While the energy crisis has been felt in many parts of the country in recent years, Mazandaran also suffers from its own specific problems in this regard. Restrictions due to the shortage of natural gas can negatively impact various industries, including processing, agriculture, and manufacturing, which has heightened concerns among producers.
