Hamid Bord has been appointed as the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil. This appointment can be seen as an important step towards improving the management of the oil industry and ensuring the country's energy supply. Hassan Hassan Netaj, a representative of the people of Babol in parliament, expressed hope that his presence in this position would help improve the current situation.

Priorities of the Ministry of Oil in the Cold Seasons

Hassan Netaj identified the preservation of production and energy supply, especially in the winter season, as the top priority of the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil. He emphasized the need to complete unfinished projects and develop gas supply infrastructure, calling for gas supply to upstream areas and equitable distribution of gas to the northern regions of the country. Netaj stated that projects that have been public demands for years should be resolved based on the actual needs of the regions and with a fair approach.

The Necessity of Structural Changes and Attracting Investment

The representative of the people of Babol also called for more serious support for research and technology in the oil industry and emphasized the need for new structural changes in this ministry. He added: "The Ministry of Oil can become the primary customer of domestic technologies with appropriate policymaking and creating real demand, while simultaneously using the capacities of the university ecosystem, research institutes, and technology and innovation parks in the oil industry to contribute to the development of a knowledge-based economy."

Netaj considered attracting domestic and foreign investment for the development of oil and gas fields and infrastructure as essential and emphasized activating the capacities of investment companies and the private sector as a condition for securing sustainable resources for the development of the oil industry.

He also noted that the parliament's expectation from the caretaker of the Ministry of Oil is not just to manage affairs until a new minister is appointed, but that ongoing activities must be maintained and development plans should not be halted.

Finally, Netaj stated that the Ministry of Oil is an important ministry and that the caretaker period should not be prolonged, expecting the President to introduce Hamid Bord to the parliament due to his technical comprehensiveness and management experience in various sectors of the oil industry.
