Dr. Peyman Jabali pointed out the role of national media in promoting clean energy in a meeting and emphasized the importance of this issue. He noted that the President is concerned about solving the energy imbalance challenge and developing renewable resources, and focusing on these energies can help with economic savings and improving people's livelihoods.

Achieving a Capacity of 8000 Megawatts of Renewable Energy

Jabali said: "The days when the President spoke of producing 30,000 megawatts of clean energy in two years may have seemed out of reach for some, but today we are on the verge of achieving a production capacity of 8000 megawatts of renewable energy, and soon this figure will exceed 12,000 megawatts."

The head of the national media emphasized that this organization is committed to promoting a culture of optimal consumption and utilizing clean energy in all sectors. He referred to the production of over 384 hours of programs in the past year focused on solar energy and added that this initiative is a national duty for the national media.

30% Reduction in Energy Consumption Due to National Media

Jabali also mentioned that in the year 1402, the national media successfully achieved a reduction of over 30% in energy consumption by emphasizing the necessity of optimal consumption. This action has occurred through advertisements and content produced by the national media.

He stressed the importance of equipping the buildings and structures of the national media with solar cells and said: "In a time when people are fully committed to supporting the country, we must pay special attention to their impactful role in various fields."

Collaboration Between National Media and SATBA for Optimizing Energy Consumption

Mohsen Taraztalab, Deputy Minister and Head of the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Organization, also referred in this meeting to an increase of over 1600 megawatts in the country's renewable energy capacity in recent months and announced that one of the effective measures is the collaboration with national media in producing renewable energy and promoting optimal consumption.

Taraztalab referred to an agreement signed between the national media and the Renewable Energy Organization, under which 40 megawatts of renewable electricity will be supplied using the lands of the national media. He also pointed out the potentials of various provinces for utilizing renewable energies, especially wind energy in southern cities.

In this meeting, the managers and deputies of the national media and the Renewable Energy Organization also raised points that included the establishment of working groups related to solar farms and cultural promotion regarding renewable energy production. These issues are considered effective steps towards optimizing energy consumption in the country.
