The Danish company CBED, which operates in the field of marine accommodation services, expanded its fleet by purchasing the tanker Seaway Moxie from Seaway7. This ship, built in 2014, has become the fourth vessel added to CBED's fleet and will soon be renamed Wind Dedication.
Details of the Ship and Its Capacity
Seaway Moxie, which sails under the British flag, can accommodate up to 60 people, including crew and other personnel. This ship is currently temporarily leased to Seaway7 to support the contractor's ongoing projects in offshore wind energy. This collaboration will continue until early 2028.

Performance and Capabilities of the Ship
Seaway7 continuously uses this tanker as part of its offshore wind support fleet, employing it alongside cable-laying, heavy-lift, and installation equipment. Daniel Alon, CEO of CBED, stated that the company was looking to add a new ship to its fleet and emphasized the operational performance and capability of the vessel to work in harsh marine conditions.
The Wind Dedication will initially operate under the CBED brand and its new name, and in the near future, during scheduled maintenance, it will be repainted in CBED's fleet colors. This step reflects CBED's commitment to enhancing its capabilities in providing services to the offshore wind energy industry.
